Welcome to Fish the Exe
Top quality salmon fishing from £10 to £20 a day. Top quality wild brown trout fishing for £10 a day. Some of the best salmon fly-fishing water in the South West is now available to everyone.

Fish The Exe is about making fishing for salmon on the Exe and Barle available to locals and
visitors alike. Through the far-sighted generosity of the rivers owners, the scheme offers rods at the subsidised rates of only £10-£20 per day on many miles of the best sections of these two premium rivers.

This new scheme addresses that issue and offers fantastic fishing at a fraction of the going rate. This is an opportunity for everyone to experience the joy of fishing on two of England’s most beautiful and productive rivers.

Support The Partners
This exciting project is a collaboration between The River Exe and Tributaries Association (RETA), the Environment Agency, Tiverton Fly Fishing Association and Dulverton Angling Association.

Money raised from the scheme goes directly back into The River Exe Project, an action oriented spin-off from RETA, which identifies and carries out targeted conservation projects aiming to enhance fish stocks and river health and ultimately restoring a state of abundance of salmon in the Exe.
