Description: A beautiful stretch of the River Barle below Tarr Steps. Challenging fishing but can be very rewarding. Situated in the stunning Barle Valley up on Exmoor.

Directions: See map. About 3 miles West of Dulverton.
   
Availability: One rod on Wednesdays throughout June,, July and August.
   
Parking: Park at the top of the RUPP track in Hinam Lane. Please do not block any field gateway. It is strongly advised NOT to take any vehicle down the track. It is ten minutes walk max.
   
Access: Fishing is upstream of where the track reaches the river. Right bank looking downstream only. The going is uneven. Thigh waders as a minimum are required.
   
Species: Salmon and trout.
   
Method: Fly only.
   
Fishability: 5/10
   
Membership: DAA or RETA

Rules: Brown trout and grayling to be returned. Rainbow trout to be retained. RETA voluntary code of practice strictly apply and note that RBFC hope that in the period that it is permitted to take salmon from the river that fishermen will return their catch to the river.
   
Cost: Salmon £20 per day or £10 for evening. Trout £10 per day.
