| Description: |
River Exe. About 1000m. The river is about 20 yards wide and should be fished with a 10-12ft fly rod.
A very pretty and productive beat. Easy to wade and fish. Produced salmon, grayling, brown and rainbow trout and a sea-trout when fished in October 06. Like most middle Exe beats needs rain to fish well.
Both banks apart from top 60yards which is Left-hand bank only. The beat fishes best from Left-hand bank. |
