Countess Wear

Description: River Exe. Tidal water with classic salmon pools. The river is about 40 yards wide and should be fished with a 12.5ft to 15ft salmon rod or spinner. The beat holds fish all year round and is most productive in low water flows. Good catches of chub can be made on fly. The river teems with grey mullet coming in on the tide.
