Dulverton Stoats Tail

Description: River Barle. Beautiful small stretch about 700m. The river is about 5 yards wide and should be fished with a 8ft fly rod or probably better on 6/7ft spinner with Mepps No 2 and 3 or small Flying C. Challenging but rewarding fishing. Most productive after high water flows. Clears quickly and comes into ply a day or two earlier than lower beats. Largest recent salmon was a 15lb fish caught June ’03.
